沖縄剛柔流空手道協会会員・関係者各位の皆様へ

あけましておめでとうございます。

旧年中は格別のご厚情を賜り、誠にありがとうございました。

さて、来年の2020年には東京オリンピックで空手競技が採用されます。

空手が世界的に注目を浴びる中、空手発祥の地である沖縄への注目が高まると予想しております。

また、当協会は今年５０周年を迎え、７月には記念事業を予定しております。

沖縄剛柔流空手道協会は沖縄空手の発展への協力、さらに沖縄剛柔流を志す各会員、各協力団体の発展を願い、地道に諸活動に取り組んで参りたいと存じます。本年も変わらぬお引き立ての程よろしくお願い申し上げます。皆様のご健勝とご発展をお祈り申し上げます。

Dear Members,

Happy New Year from Okinawa!

2018 ended successfully with the incredible support from you all.

Okinawa, the birthplace of Karate, is expected to attract even greater attention due to Karate making its first appearance in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

As many of you may already know, this year will see OGKK’s 50th anniversary, hence will be holding a special event to commemorate this momentous occasion with all of you.

With our perseverance and persistence in practicing Gojuryu Karate, let’s continue to preserve these valuable techniques and traditions, which I am confident helps the Okinawan Karate and organization constantly strive and develop.

Without you, none of this would be possible. Let’s work together and look forward to seeing what 2019 holds in store for us.
